disney shuttle transfer or private??

Hi booking our trip and we are flying which we have never done as eurostar is full. But has anyone used a private transfer to and from airport instead of the VEA? Is it much difference in price?

The price with VEA is £120 but am sure its only about 20-25 miles from disney and thought it might take forever stopping to pick people up.

Anyone shine any light on this for me please?

It depends how many of ye are travelling but I've never found the VEA cheaper then RS Transport. Plus you are dropped straight to your hotel.

Thanks for your quick response, My hubbys a planner and is worried if we book a private in advance they might not turn up? Do you need to do planning or can you just a taxi from airport how does it work please?

We usually find private transfer works cheaper for us as a family of 4 adults and even with just 2 of us it is not q huge difference in price for the comfort! Use a recommended firm we use Ezyshuttle and have never been let down. You leave your luggage at hotel On last day in secured baggage room and the vea picks you up at each hotel On site.

Lol Ive not taken the VEA but we booked RS Transport (9 times now) in advance, get your luggage, go down a floor and they will either be standing holding a name board or they will meet you outside. I like to ring when we land and then they can tell us where to meet. We pay in advance & the only problem we had was when they were late to bring us to Beauvais, we made our flight in plenty of time - the road works were unscheduled so not their fault. Sorry I cant be of more help!
You leave your luggage in the luggage room (secure & manned) after check out then receive a slip to exchange for your luggage before you depart for the airport.

Meant to say you pay the driver On arrival at your hotel and then at airport for journey back!

Thanks I booked the Vea home but when we arrive the shuttle will have finished so will try and get quotes from ezy shuttle and rs transport if possible thanks and then we will know for next time
