Disney should carry pepsi they should charge extra for it like 1.00 per bottle or cup.

I would bet there is an exclusivity clause in Coca-Cola's contract with Disney which would preclude that.

i agree! or they should do like pepsi-cola like some restaurants do. i miss mountain dew when i go there!! i either get sprite or water which does not make for a happy teenager.

Yea for PEPSI!:rotfl:

Seriously! I miss my Mountain Dew so much while I'm there. One trip, we ordered pizza from an off property place and had it delivered JUST BECAUSE it had Pepsi products! :rotfl2:

And my last trip, when we got to the airport to go home, I told my 2 teenage siblings that I would give the first one to find me a Mountain Dew $10! Haha! The crazy thing is, you can barely even find it at the Orlando airport! One trip I never did find one, and had to wait until we got to the Atlanta airport!

I find I always ridiculously miss my diet dr pepper!!!! I tried to find a diet mr pibb but not even in a grocery store can I find one!

Im a pepsi girl (especially diet vanilla pepsi and pepsi maxx mm!!!)

But I agree I believe I read somewhere about that exclusive clause. At least diet coke isn't too bad and I quite enjoy sprite zero!

I'm a Pepsi person too but I don't have problem choking down Coke when I have to. No big deal. What I don't like is that bottled water made by Coca-Cola (the name is escaping me now). I think it has an AWFUL taste. I was so thirsty one day that I figured I would be okay with it. After one swig I just couldn't do it. The only other option is SmartWater at $3.50 a bottle. Really? They can't sell any spring water?

At least when I went to Universal they did have a spring water option and I was very happy with that.

I bring my own Mt Dew to Disney when we go......problem solved.

Coke drinker here and it seems to me Disney is just about the only place I can go to get it on vacation. But in my family we do have mountain dew drinkers and that's one of the perks of driving...we bring MD with us.

I've heard they get their coke products for free. If they offered pepsi, they'd have to pay for both the coke AND the pepsi

I like both Coke and Pepsi, so I really don't care which one they have.

I would bet there is an exclusivity clause in Coca-Cola's contract with Disney which would preclude that.

Further to Frank's point, one can only imagine the tentacles involved in a Disney/Coke partnership. It might include promotional opportunities, merchandising, perks for Coke excecs, etc. The likelihood of anything interfering with the world's most popular soft drink and the world's biggest entertainment entitiy could be less than zero. Full disclosure: I have a slight preference for Pepsi over Coke but don't drink either. :)

Echoing Firedancer...there is, IIRC, a very iron-cald exclusivity agreement between Coke and WDW. You can't buy Pepsi on property anywhere. For that I am grateful. Pepsi is tolerable only when the champ...COKE...is unavailable.

I am reminded of the movie "the Inventionof Lying" where all of their commercials told the 100% truth (because society didn't know how to lie). The commercial for Pepsi read:

"Pepsi...when you can't buy Coke."
