I thought so too! At first I thought, well there are quote books and such so this is like an extension of that. But while I might buy a quote book I don't think I would want a talking figure.
Still, I bet collectors will be interested...

Bag Giveaway For Attending DVC Member Meeting
Disney Vacation Club owners can currently snag a free crossbody bag for attending a brief member update meeting at Walt Disney World.
This cute crossbody storage pouch is the current gift for members who attend DVC's scheduled member meetings when staying on their points. It features a large interior compartment, along with a smaller outside zippered storage pocket. It also includes a long strap suitable for carrying it on the shoulder or across one's body.
The meeting is ostensibly a light sales pitch, reviewing current promotions for adding-on Disney Vacation Club points, along with some recent news and information regarding the timeshare. Schedules and locations are subject to change at any time, but recent reports indicate meetings are held daily at 2:30pm at Disney's Riviera Resort. The meeting lasts approximately 30 minutes.
The bags are free to meeting attendees, while supplies last. Speak to a DVC cast member at any of the resort or theme park sales booths for additional details.

- On June 21st Don Hahn and Christopher Merritt will be signing their book.
- These signings will take place at the following locations and times:
- Wonderground Gallery at Downtown Disney District from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Disneyana at Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Note that the authors will only sign copies of their book and no other personal items will be signed.
- Books for signing must also be purchased on event day at Disneyland Resort, limit of 2 signed items per Guest.
