Most Disney mugs are not dishwasher safe - My mom has ruined several by doing so. For the microwave, orten it is the metallic paint that is the issue as it is not microwave safe. That said, I hate microwaving water for beverages or soup or anything - it doesn't taste right, I swear! So, these limitations are not a big deal to me.

I wouldn't say most. I have tons of Disney mugs (seriously, an unholy number of mugs) and most of them are dishwasher and microwave safe. There are a couple that are awesome enough that I still bought them even though I need to wash by hand (like the Infinity Gauntlet).

YES!!!!! OMG you know how many times I’ve opened the microwave hours later and it’s like “oh yeah, I forgot about that!!”

Agreed, we won't buy them if they aren't dishwasher safe. That said, every Disney mug we have so far, does just fine in the dishwasher. But they are all a few years old.

First Look at Disney Wish Inaugural Apparel and Pandora Charms​

The Disney Wish will be making its maiden voyage this summer and of course, there will be plenty of inaugural merchandise. We already got a look at the new Dooney & Bourke tote, Loungefly mini backpack, and Loungefly ear headband. Disney Cruise Line has now released the first look at some of the apparel and Pandora charms that will also be available on the ship.

There will be T-shirts, blouses, long sleeve shirts, pullovers, and more. The photo above shows off blue and white menswear.

This photo gives us another look at the blue Minnie ear headband, as well as an ombre blouse featuring Minnie Mouse with the Disney Wish.

Captain Minnie and Rapunzel will be featured on the bow and stern of the Disney Wish respectively, and guests can also bring them home on new Pandora charms. This set includes two slider charms and one dangle charm.

Each to their own, I don't have the time or patience for... or even own a kettle hahah
If I cannot put it in the microwave it's useless to me. Plus I wouldn't wanna risk the mug or the microwave if a visitor doesn't read the mug instructions. It just seems unsafe.

Probably good for my wallet tho hahaha

I absolutely love my Sunbeam Hot Shot hot water dispenser. It can make a cup of hot water as fast as a microwave. It's great for tea! I found it below on Sunbeam's website, however finding them for sale seems problematic right now.

I’m a slow drinker so I heat my coffee up at least 3-5 times in the morning!! No joke!! It’s probably one of the first things I do is look under the mug to see if they are microwave safe!! It’s crucial for the winter months! Summer, I just switch over to iced coffee, so it’s not a big deal then lol

Same! I don't care about the dishwasher part, but a mug absolutely needs to be microwavable, if not I won't buy it.
