Most Disney mugs are not dishwasher safe - My mom has ruined several by doing so. For the microwave, often it is the metallic paint that is the issue as it is not microwave safe. That said, I hate microwaving water for beverages or soup or anything - it doesn't taste right, I swear! So, these limitations are not a big deal to me.

Each to their own, I don't have the time or patience for... or even own a kettle hahah
If I cannot put it in the microwave it's useless to me. Plus I wouldn't wanna risk the mug or the microwave if a visitor doesn't read the mug instructions. It just seems unsafe.

Probably good for my wallet tho hahaha

I’m a slow drinker so I heat my coffee up at least 3-5 times in the morning!! No joke!! It’s probably one of the first things I do is look under the mug to see if they are microwave safe!! Sounds like you need an EMBER mug or other electric mug warmer. Keeps your coffee at a specific temp for multiple hours!

Same! I don't care about the dishwasher part, but a mug absolutely needs to be microwavable, if not I won't buy it.
