Disney shopping contest...funny rules??

So I entered the disney shopping sweepstakes for a trip to the world, as I often do I took a look at the official rules and to my suprise I found this in the "offical rules" "All members of the Group will be required to execute and return a Release of Liability prior to ticketing. Each Canadian resident who is a potential winner will be required to answer correctly a mathematical skill testing question without assistance of any kind whether mechanical or otherwise to be declared a winner and be eligible to collect a prize." Do our friends from the north suffer from mathematical skill challenges

Suprisingly I have actually seen this before in other contests . Not sure why, but who know.

I think there is some obscure Canadian law that there must be something that requires "skill" to the contest, not just a pure giveaway. Now the mathematical skill question might be "what is 1 +1? "

Canadian law prohibits giveaways and chance lottery so to make it a legal contest in Canada it turns into a knowledge contest.The last post was correct I asked when I saw the same disclaimer on a contest entry form. I investigated and that was the answer.
