Does anyone know of any stores that usually carry Disney themed shirts for little girls? DD is 5 and I am going to buy Disney shirts for her to wear on our trip, I know she will want some and its so much cheaper than getting in the parks! I don't have a Disney store near us and I have had trouble ordering online, I ordered based on their size chart and the shirts were what would have fit a 10 year old. So I hate to do the online thing. Thanks!

I've seen Disney themed clothing in Kohl's, JC Penney, Target (in the toddler sizes - up to size 5T) and Wal-Mart. It is hit or miss though.

I have had the same problem as you w/ Disneyshopping and sizes. I just ordered matching t-shirts for my three kids and the one I ordered for my 2 year old can fit my 8 year old!!! I hate returning stuff to them so I'll just hold onto the shirts for another 5 years and maybe by then they will fit!!! Or I can use them as nightgowns but I don't think my son would go for that

I'm glad I am not the only one with size problems with them!!! I exchanged those mediums I got for smalls, thinking, well they will still be too big, but not as bad as the mediums. Well the smalls they sent fit her exactly NOW - I don't dare dry them in the dryer!!! There is no way those mediums I was sent were the next size in line after those smalls !! I sent them a letter about it but no response.

I saw Tinkerbell t-shirts at Target the other day. They were in girls (not toddler) section.

Check K-mart if you have one near. My cousins daughter loves Minnie and many of her items have come from K-mart.

There are the CUTEST Disney Princess iron-ons at Walmart and Hobby Lobby, by Sandy Lion. The style is really cute and different than any other princess shirts I have seen. They come with belle, ariel, snow white and cinderella and I am going to surprise our girls with them when we get down there. I bought white tank tops since we will be there this summer and it will be HOT! I liked these because they are unique and will help them stand out. Also, we bought iron-on letters to write on shirts too. One of them says Princess Elisabeth. Another cute idea is to get them hats and put something on there. They have iron-on jewel crystals that I am going to put on the rim of a visor to help keep the sun out of their faces, and get them excited about wearing them! The Pirates of the Caribbean shirts at Walmart are also really adorable!

Check out the Creative DISign board...there are very generous and talented people on that board that share a ton of clever iron on graphics and they will give you info regarding printing out the transfers on your computer and even customize as well. There are also some threads with great directions for DIY tye-dye. Might be a fun family project as you count down til your trip.

My favorite place to buy t-shirts for Disney is Zazzle.com. You pick your design & character, you pick your shirt style (t-shirt, 3/4 sleeve, sweatshirt, onesie, etc), color and size, and then you can personalize with saying and/or name.
As a bonus, if you're a Sunshine rewards member, you can shop through their link and get credits.
We got the boys bright star wars tshirts for our DL trip, and they got picked for the Jedi Academy!

How accurate are they on sizes? Like I said previously, I have had a horrible time with the Disney store online so now I am hesitant to do the online thing again.

My boys are bigger, and they are the ones I just purchased, and they were right on (boys xl and adult small). Not much of any shrinkage or fading, either. My DD is weird for sizing. She is typically a 7/8 (or Med.) in girls. I got a Med. for her and it fit her fine, but was a tad shorter than we typically get.

I haven't liked any of the clothes I've purchased from walmart or kmart as far as Disney stuff. Target is such a hit and miss. I can't think of anywhere else that I purchase Disney shirts IRL. Online seems to be it.

I just got DD two at JCPenney's. One is white with tons of black and white Mickeys and one colorful Minnie. The other is pink and has slippers/shoes all over it and says "If the shoe fits". They were both in the size 7 and up section, but seemed to run small to me.

Also, Walmart does have some cute ones. I got myself one in the junior department. it's brown with Tinkerbell on it!
