Yes, you are correct once upon a time they did give perks to shareholders but like alot of the good things they are no more. Although the annual report they send is interesting if you can wade through the mumbo jumbo.
Do they send out an annual report even if you only have one share in the company? I was given one through the oneshare company and wasn't sure if that information was even given to Disney . . . just a thought.

Yes - When we bought Disney stock for our son we had our brokerage firm hold all but one share in his account. We took one physical share and framed it for his room. We would always receive two annual reports - one for the shares that were in his account and one for the single physical share that we kept. I can even remeber receiving dividend checks for a few pennies for that one share.
