Did you get the DVC ad offering a free vacation for shareholders that become DVC members? I was wondering if anyone looked into it to find out the details.

My daughter owns 1 share, bought by her grandparents. She lied to us years ago and said that she didn't have it anymore for some bizarre reason. OK, no biggie for me.

Grandmother moved in for a short time, had her address changed to ours. We had to kick the lying witch out.

Apparently she didn't forward her address and we received the dividend checks to our house. Can you tell me the benefits of being a shareholder?

There are no real benefits such as discounts.

We have been debating DVC in our home for a couple of weeks & when I received this ad in my shareholders packet this week I thought I'd ask around. I didn't want to call to ask because I know they'd probably talk me into it.

I wonder why I never got this. I own 53 shares, is there some minimum above that to receive the information? I never get anything from them.

It came in the packet with the voting info & meeting invitation.I just got it a couple of days ago.

My packet arrived yesterday. I'd love to get the free vacation but buying into DVC is not in our plans.

Was anyone else disappointed in the cover of the Annual report? I probably shouldn't admit this but I get really excited every year to see the new cover,it's like getting a late Christmas present from Disney every year

Simba'sMom- There's a place on the Disney website where you can sign up as a shareholder and opt in to receiving annual reports, I think there's even a phone number you can call. Sorry if I'm being vague but I threw out some of the paperwork that came in my packet and evidently those were the ones with the address and phone number. If you contact them soon you should still be able to get this years report.

I received my shareholder packet a couple of weeks ago...not sure exactly when as it went to my mom's house. But DS has not received his, yet..very strange.
