Disney Shareholder Proposals on Proxy

There is a shareholder Proposal designed to have Disney withdraw from the Human Rights Campaign rating system Equality Index for Workplace Diversity (and by extension end their DEI program) Disney has scored 100% on the Index for years.

It is item Number 5 on the proxy. Please vote AGAINST this proposal as the board recommends. In fact, the board recommends voting agains ALL 3 shareholder proposals.

If you are a shareholder, and missed the email with the link to the proxy...my email was dated January 30. Proxy voting ends March 19.

I made the mistake of reading the comments on Facebook about this. I really should know better than to do that.

I've learned to never read the comments on any Facebook posts that have anything to do with LGBTQ related stuff. It's really upsetting.
