Hey guys! I'm back!!!!

I'm working 3 jobs now & have been picking up as many hours as I can at each... thus making in pretty much impossible to get online.

I'm sorry!

This trip is getting all paid for though!

No new updates really.

The only think that has changed is we ordered some luggage from Disney shopping! Its super cute! We decided to give it to the parents for Easter! Dad will have the bigger one, mom will have the smaller one & they can share the carry on.

For Easter we're going to wrap them up. The smaller ones come inside the bigger ones so we are going to give it to them like that & wrap each layer & inside the carry on we are going to wrap the passporters guide book

My cousin got the black set

They are super cute & seem to be very well made. Oh & they were on SALE. Yay!

The other think I'm contemplating is getting the Tshirts made up for everyone. Opinions on that? I think seeing pictures of families in them are super cute but I think that my Dad, brother, & cousin will think its lame.

P.S. Heather, Passporters is TOTALLY worth the investment!!!! I LOVE my book. Its really really amazing. I got it at Barnes & Nobles for around 20 bucks. SO so so worth it! Here is a link. It has TONS of tips & tricks & info. It also has a bunch of pockets for reservations & all that. Go to the store & check it out, I promise you'll fall in love!

Hello all my wonderful loves!

So the mouse is outta the bag!

We suprised my Dad on Easter & it went over AMAZING.

We finally decided that since we all play euchre we would suprise him through that way.

We bought a deck of playing cards & printed words that said "Congratulations" "You're" "Going To" "Disney World" "Turn Around"

We had the luggage snuck down so it was sitting behind him along with a mylar Disney balloon & 6 other balloons in a rainbow of colors with all of our names on it attached to the luggage & a envelope decorated with Mickey stickers.


It worked out PERFECT!!!!!

We started playing a game & in the middle of it, my uncle Mark asked my Dad to come with him to drop his car off at the mechanic (which happened to be true, he was just going to do it the next day).

We had my brother "sit in" for my Dad's hand.

When Mark & Dad went up the street we switched the cards & had them laying on the table so the read straight across "Congratulations" "You're" "Going To" "Disney World" "Turn Around"

When Dad & Mark got back, my brother "had to go to the bathroom" so we told my Dad to sit back in. My brother ran upstairs to grab the luggage so by the time he turned back around it was sitting behind him

He turned the cards over and thought it was a joke!

We told him before he was allowed to say a word he would have to read the letter.

I'm posting the letter below... I apologize if swearing offends you. My Dad likes to use those words sometimes so we phrased the letter as if we were replying to every question he would have


CONGRATULATIONS
(On finally finding out you are going to Disney World…6 months after the fact)

We know you have a ton of questions so let us explain before the *****ing begins…..

1. Yes this is for real, we are aware we are all @$$holes but you love us
2. This is all paid for and there is absolutely NOTHING you can do about it
3. Seriously it is paid for, no b!tching, again you know you love us
4. You are probably wondering how this is even F*CKING possible…
a). Amanda has been E-Baying since before Christmas
b) Megan & Brad both saved their money to share this experience with you
c) We have wanted to go on a Buckland family vacation for years now….this is our version of making that dream a reality
5. Hotel has been booked and paid for, Airline tickets have been purchased, park Hopper passes have been purchased as well as the dining plan
AKA…EVERYTHING HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF…DEAL WITH IT!!
6. Timing is an issue for Mark, Carolyn, Emily & Cassie…unfortunately no
matter what time of year we go they can not join in on the fun…they are well aware of the situation and are excited that we have this opportunity
7. We are leaving on Saturday, September 12th on a Jet Blue Airline flight at 7:00am Arriving in Florida at 9:39am (direct flight)
8. We are staying at Animal Kingdom Kidani Villas…a two bedroom villa (sleeps 9 ppl) With a savannah view
9. We have park hopper passes and a dining plan that we can get into details later
10. We will sadly be leaving on Saturday, September 19th at 6:35pm on a JetBlue direct flight
11. We have lots of fun and adventure planned for the trip that we are excited to share With you so if you are going to be a pain in the *** expect an *** kicking from 5 Bucklands
12. We all love you sooo much and are exciting that we were able to surprise you with this trip. You are an amazing father and uncle and deserve this trip so much. We could go on and on with the sappy sh!t but we will cut it short…hahahaha!!!!

Can not wait until September………..153 days to go…WOOHOO!!!!!!!!

P.S. How could we forgot the most important question of all…PELT….No worries!!!! With your permission Anthony has agreed to stay and take care of the house and your beloved little PELT!!! Yes we realize he is a “dumb @$$” but he is responsible and respectful. And most important…terrified of you…so he will take great care of your little boy!!!!!

He read it out loud & just laughed. We gave him a few other gifts including the Passporters Guide, a Mickey figurine & a gift certificate to get a photo book.

Now we are all SOOOOOOO excited! Its funny when Dad or Mom asks any questions, I know all the answers because I have been OBSESSING over this trip for months now.

We also decided on going to MNSHP!!!!! Yay! We're thinking Tuesday night. Any thoughts?

Mom, Dad & I are meeting with the cousins on Sunday to plan dinners. We have CM planned for SUNDAY morning still (right Heather, Jen & Sophia?)

I cant wait to meet you all!

I am so glad the surprise worked out so well! It sounds as if you all will have a great time. We are going to get tickets to go to MNSSHP on the Tuesday also. We went on a Friday last time and it was crowded, but not too bad. I am hoping the middle of the week is better! We are going the same time you are so now we just have to wait until mid-June to make dining reservations!

We will have to meet up. I think that it is funny that you are going to Chef Mickeys on Sunday morning because I already have a meeting there that morning with another disBoard member. I am lucky enough to be the proud father of this amazing girl!!!!!!
Her mom and I are so blessed to have her and her brother, truly amazing persons. The surprise that they all managed to provide me left me speechless, which in itself is quite a feat. As incredible as the gift is and will be, the love and planning that went into it makes me believe i am the luckiest person in the world to have a family like I do. I was raised in the early years of television and from the Sunday night "Wonderful World of Disney" I have been a lifelong fan. From Fess Parker as Davy Crockett to my favorites Chip and Dale, Disney has enriched my life. Over the years ...a honeymoon and 2 trips with little ones to Disneyworld have created the best memories anyone could ask for..
The upcoming trip in September will create more such fantastic memories particularly in the light of my kids love.
"Synndy" is sometimes called "KJ" or "Kevin Junior"...sometimes stubborn and hardheaded, sometimes a smart ***, a bit of a temper but a smart, hard working,beautiful and loving person with a great sense of humor. Her brother Adam, although more even tempered is no less fantastic! Her dedication to making this memory perfect in every way has me in complete awe....so for everyone who gets to know her, I hope you all see the beauty I do.

I just read your pre-trip report and how you surprised your parents. What a wonderful thing to do. Also glad to hear your mom is feeling better and I am sure everyone will have a wonderful magical trip. We will be there from the 10th-19th of September and staying at Pop Century with our son and his wife and our two little grandchildren, it is a nice place to make memories with your family.
