I've just had through the post a Premium annual pass, as requested, but it's a renewal voucher, which I didn't ask for! When I present it in the summer, will I be able to pay the extra for the non renewal PAP? I'd like to avoid having to ship it from the UK back to WDW!
TIA
Ian

I would say to just take it with you and go to guest services when you arrive. That should take care of the problem. Welcome.:bounce:

this happened to us just call the number on your receipt and they will send out the new voucher. And void your renenwal one.

I would not wait until I got there(but that is just me!)I like to have all things in order befor I arrive and no hassels once I get there.

Good Luck

That's me too Mal, I'm a belt and braces sort of person! It'd probably be fine to sort it once there, but I think I'll ring, I just don't relish those international call charges. I've tried e-mailing before, and got no-where fast. (I've not found calling too good either actually!)
I wonder if they'll honour the Disney club discount that applied when I first bought the PAP? I suppose 10% off the extra they'll charge me won't add up to much anyway...
Thanks,
Ian

they should not charge you anything it was their mistake unless you ordered the renewal instead of the AP. They should take care of it and depending on when you are leaving I would ask them to expediate them.

Good Luck

I would not ring international long distance.

Email again and again until you get a reply.

Also I would not want to send it back in case it gets lost in the mail.

Better to resolve the problem after you get to WDW next. After getting some email or mail reply confirming that is OK. I would be tempted to bring along copies of all numerous unreplied emails if I didn't get a reply and also I decided not to ring.

Thanks all.
I'll try e-mailing them. I think the reason they've made the mistake is because I rang them on 31-12-03 to get the DC discount, their computers were down, so it was passed to the DC office to process. Somewhere between, my request of a PAP (no mention of a renewal) was confused and they've sent me a renewal PAP.
Any ideas of an address I could e-mail, there's nothing on the exchange certificate except telephone numbers and PO box numbers etc.
TIA
Ian

I had a problem with not receiving my AP vouchers from Disney. When I emailed to check, I received a reply from Megan within half an hour! Somehow my passes had never been processed, but she was apologetic and helpful and sent them out to me FedEx (at no charge) the next day. She offered to send them to the Dolphin for me, but I'd rather have them in my hot little hand before I go!

I was very impressed with the level of service I received from WDW Ticket Sales.

And a big gold star to Megan for taking care of me!

I'd recommend emailing them for assistance.

What was the address? There's no mention of an e-mail address on the letter or voucher...

WE HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN!! AND WE HAD ALREADY HAD
THE CHARGE ON OUR CREDIT CARD, THEY WANTED TO RECHARGE OUR CARD ANOTHER 1000 PLUS DOLLARS AND THEN CREDIT US
when we returned our passes!
they had also forgotten our disney club discount! my husband asked for a supervisor and immediatally the CSR said okay, i will send you a stamped envelope with your new tickets and only charge you the difference! Whew.

we were able to send our renewal vouchers back the same day we recieved our annual pass vouchers in a disney envelope.

try to do this so you know they will send you the right ones.

or vouchers they just deactivate them in the system. They did not require that we return the renewals.

Ian this happened to us several years ago so I do not have the numbers to call but I remember they were included on the invoice enclosed with our tickets.

I have a voucher waiting to be activated now let me check it.

yes it was there 407-566-4985

Mon-Fri 8:30 to 4:45 EST
Sat 8-4:15 EST

we had to return ours they were annual pass renewal vouchers
and we did not have one to renew, we needed a first AP.

if you get renewals they start from the date your old AP expired.

They actually requested we send them back, before they would
reissue us new AP's they said they couldnt deactivate them
or let them get into the wrong hands!

sorry no mention of an email addy.

Again if it were me I would call..traveling from England to the Us with the wrong tics is too much of a worry in my eyes. I would bite the bullet and pay the toll charges and get this straightened out.

How far from Chelmsford are you?

Mal

because my SIL found them the other day and forgot what they were and called Ticketing and they told her they were deactivated.

That has only been a few months ago and this happened at least 5 years ago.

Here's the email addy I used. WDW.Ticket.Inquiries@disneyworld.com

I ordered mine online so I just did a reply along with my order number.

I would think they'd be able to help you out even if you didn't order them online. Give it a shot!

Or, if you did call and get stuck on hold for a long time, bring your phone bill to Guest RElations, explain that WDW made the mistake that necessitated the call, and ask for some perk, perhaps extra fastpasses, or a souvenir, or something.

Thanks all. It's the first time I've posted on the main disboards and can't believe how helpful you've managed to be.
I'll use the e-mail address first, if I have no luck I'll grit my teeth and call.
Nowhere near Chelmsford Mal, we live in Leyland which is in the North of England, Chelmsford I believe is down in the south somewhere...
Thanks again everyone,
Ian

and I hope you get it all taken care of.

My DH is from Chelmsford just wondered where you were in comparsion. Yes it is 45 mins NE of London

Good Luck
