Considering Bob Iger's annual salary is $13-14 million, I'd agree.

Not just the crew. Disney should skip Nassau and add a stop in Freeport so passengers who chose to do so could help with recovery.

Its early ish in the hurricane season, even with Dorian when they made this pledge they had no idea what more would be needed. They can always decide to help out more but if they had pledged more and then did less, even if it was to help other hurricane devastated areas, the optics would have been horrible.

No thanks. I'm sure people want to help but the last thing the island needs is a couple of thousand inexperienced Disney cruisers rotating through there every couple of days combing over the wreckage risking injury, disease or worse. If anything, I expected a better response from England. last time I checked, the Queen is still on their money.

I, for one, commend the lines for what they are doing to help. Sure it seems like it could be more, but it could be less as well. Overall I'd say that the larger lines that are also announcing $1mil donations benefit more off of the Bahamas than DCL, (more ships, more stops). Even the Atlantis hasn't announced giving money, but they did set up a GoFundMe account ro give away our money.

I am sure that the communities of the Bahamas are grateful for the help that is coming from wherever it is coming. However much that is.

But once the donations are totaled up, I'm betting that it will have massive impacts on the islands.
