I have hundreds of photos taken in Disney from over the years which bring back lots of lovely memories, and wanted to make a really nice scrap book with them :cool1: . It's a way of relieving my Disney angst as I am not able to go this year, boo! I usually go in November so it is this time of year that I am usually planning the trip, so I have an itch that needs to be scratched soon :rotfl: . Does anyone have any interesting scrap book ideas, or even photos of their Disney scrap book layouts?

I'm not sure if they have anything in Paris but the parks in Florida had loads of Disney scrapbooking kits. Scrapbooking is so huge in America I would look into some websites that will ship to you. 'Jo-Ann' is one of the main craft stores in America and has tons of Disney stuff... usually the layouts are all set out for you... just have to match your photos to the appropriate themes. But you really can get all sorts! My favourite movie is Aladdin so with all the pictures I collected of those characters I bought some Aladdin pages and stickers to match it all.

My daughter has just started one for last weeks holiday - but this is as far as she has got so far. :rotfl:

If you pop on to the Creative Community board - there is some fantastic ideas there :)

I'm just doing mine from this years trip, one scrapbook done and I think another 2 to go - we just took SO many photographs and I can't bear not to include most of them!
I'll try and take a picture of a page and upload it.

My daughter bought me the book 'The Essential Disney Idea Book' by Sandylion last year for Mother's Day - it has some fabulous scrapbooking and crafting ideas in it.

Oh my god, that's so cute!!!! What a really special way to keep hold of those memories, I'll bet it takes some work though. I wonder if I'd have time to make one after my forthcoming trip, in between college, work, housework and looking after three kids........:rolleyes1 mmmm maybe!!

Dianetigger that is so good, your much cleverer(is that even a word lol) than me.

I really need to learn how to scrapbook.

Hi

I'm not sure if you have a Klick photopoint shop near you but they have Disney scrapbook kits on sale (not sure of the price - I saw them in the window as I drove by but haven't had a chance to look yet but it's on my list 'to do' this weekend!). It looks like a 12 x 12 album and then bits in the kit - they had Disney Princesses and Winnie the Pooh.

Ebay have loads of Disney embellishments (I've been looking for my upcoming trip!) so worth a look there although most are US sellers. There is one UK seller (Fantasia Crafts) who has some fab stuff but unfortunately she's on maternity leave so has closed the shop for a wee while - still worth looking at her stuff though as she has some examples too. Sandylion (the manufacturer) make most of the Disney stuff sold over here in papercrafting shops - have a look at their website for some ideas.

Sadly, someone posted about scrapbooking supplies at DLRP a few weeks ago and apparently there aren't any true supplies to buy out there :( But you can get stickers and bits...

I love scrapbooking and cardmaking (I'm a freelance designer for a few papercrafts mags) and am sooo looking forward to making a Disney scrapbook (just got to finish all my other layouts first lol!).

I don't have any Disney LOs but if you are interested in my other LOs they are on my blog here http://patsy-j.blogspot.com/search/label/Scrap LOs

I'd love to see what you come up with if you don't mind sharing :)

Dianetigger - your LOs are just fab :lovestruc

Thank you Patsy, I really enjoy scrapbooking and card making. I work in a pre-school and find that it's a great way to relax at the end of the day!
Off to take a look at your blog, thanks for the link.

Well Diane - if your Los are anything to go by I'm sure your cards are brill ;)
