It's interesting on paper, but neither of these companies is interested in the other -I say no way. Iger will be making a move, not likely entertaining potential buyers. The whole relationship is kind of strange(in a kissing cousins kind of way) -Jobs gets forced out of Apple and buys Pixar from LucasFilm; then Iger gains Jobs' confidence and buys Pixar; now Apple is going to woo Iger for Disney??? I don't think so.

If anything I think that Disney will shrink by dumping the albatross that ESPN is.

Yeah, I think that's going to happen sooner rather than later. The economics of sport are changing so rapidly in favor of the teams/leagues and to the disadvantage of broadcaster organizations that I don't think there's a clear way to right the ship at ESPN in the immediate future, and that doing so in the long term is going to take more innovation and resources than Disney is likely to throw at it.
