Disney Room Block for an Off Site Wedding?

We are having our Wedding at the Paddlefish in February and have a lot of guest looking to stay on property for the wedding. We are interested in doing a Room Block but I wasn't sure if that was an option since technically we are not having a Disney Wedding. Does anyone know?

Disney will only allow you to set up a room block if you are planning an event with them, either via Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings or Disney Meetings & Events. However, if it makes you feel any better, the room block discounts they've been offering lately have not been as good as the ones available to the general public.
