I tried this about a year ago but cannot remember the site. but there was a link to Disney ring tones. However i could not get it to work on my old phone. I have since upgraded and would like to try again. Anyone know how i can download ringtones through my Telus carrier? :surfweb:

I would love this link as well. on my old telus phone I found a minnie one and a stitch one on the telus "my telus" site. however with my new phone I went looking for a new one for it and they are no longer on there. I think I might have to charge my old phone just so I can transfer the ringtone to my new phone ha ha! I'm subscribing to this so I can get the link too!!! Thanks!

I'm not sure about Disney rings for Telus, but Bell has *alot* of Disney ringtones. (in case any Bell users are reading this thread)

My ringtone is Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious :yay:

I just found this the other day. If you log onto the disney site www.disneyworld.com you know how accross the top is says video, shop, just for you, dxd with all the little tabs, well there is one for mobile. The ringtones are there.

If this is not clear, let me know and I will try to give more clear instructions.

I remember the site you are referring to - I wanted to get some new ones too but forgot to bookmark it. It was the site where you had to text the ring tone to your phone. Was pretty easy to do..... Anyone else remember the site??

i think this was it. but i can't get it to download to my phone. I have a brand new LG phone so i thought it would work. But i went through and selected my tone, then texted to my phone. But from when i open my text message, i cannot figure out what to do from there? my options for text messaging is Forward, Save text, lock, add to contacts ? That's it. The help menu shows nothing like what is on my phone.

So, if anyone can help with the step by step that would be awesome! :worship:

You can also search on Bell mobility's website for their Disney ringtones.. and listen to them online. :)

Unfortunately the disney website won't work for telus carriers :confused3

and I tried downloading a ring tone from the other one, it sent the ringtone to my phone, I downloaded it but I can't save it to apply it as a ringtone. I have a motorola razr

any ideas?

thanks so much  , It is an LG 8550. There is no option in the text message to save the ringtone as previous poster stated? Maybe it is just the phone?

Ok I will get that info for you I am at work now so I will do this over the weekend for you and we will get you all up and running. I know on my Sanyo phone I got a text from the site that gave me a download code to reply to then all the ringtones would download to my phone. If for some reason there are others that can't get the ringtones to download there is another way to do this. If you purchase the data cable for your specific phone you can hook it up to your PC and dowload them to the computer then transfer them to the phone via the data cable. If people want to contact me via PM or on here with the details to their respective phones I will put together a detailed list of how to get all teh phones up and running with and for the ringtones they would like.

Ok here is a link to the how to's for getting ringtones and pics to your phone this should answer many of your questions.

Is it maybe the ringtone I selected? I followed your instructions to the letter and it downloads the song but there is no option to apply it as a ringtone. My dh tried it on my phone too and it didn't work. I think i'll try it with another tone instead and see if it works. I'll let you know how it goes. thanks for helping though!

No problems I am looking into it a little more to see if there are a specific instruction set for your phone in particular as these instructions are generic for the phone manufacturers so maybe there is something specific that is being missed with yours. Sorry for the delay I will let you now as soon as I have an answer.

Thanks for you help F4disneyfan.
I tried going to the website by the code too, and when i click download, it just plays the tone but it does not give me options to save it anywhere. So, i guess my phone is one that will not allow me to do it. thanks for trying
