That actually seems really official on their part (their as in whoever made this). Maybe this could lead to something interesting. I don't think I saw anything new from the ride recreation projects for the past few years anyway

It seems something like that would be a perfect fit into Epcot. If nothing else, just the app would really be cool.

as someone who is really into the VR/360 experience (I did some 360 shooting on our last trip) I am all for this. would be amazing. And I love the scavenger hunt idea. This isnt a kickstarter or anything, right? I'd dontate to this if it was. thanks for sharing.
