Disney Rewards Visa ?

Hi, I've tried Googling this/searching the boards, but no matter how I word it, I can't seem to find an answer!
I recently got a Disney Rewards Visa under the "get 200 Rewards Dollars with your first purchase" promo. I made my first purchase and now have the dollars. I'm not going to order my "Redemption Card" quite yet (going to put rent, etc. on the card to get more points), but when I do, can I use that card to book my Disney vacation? We're booking probably in about a month for next year's trip and $200+ dollars towards that would be terrific. We'd obviously use the card to book the trip so that we'll have even more points to use in the parks.
So, anyway: When I call Disney to book our package, will I be able to use my Rewards Dollars for a portion of it and then use the credit card to cover the rest? TIA!!

Yes you can but the only thing I'm not sure of is if you will get the 6 mos same as cash if you don't pay your whole balance with the card. Hopefully someone else will come along and be more helpful. You can also use your reward card for park merchandise, tickets or food in the parks and downtown disney owned restaurants.
