Disney Rewards resort question

Do only the "true" Disney resorts accept the Disney Rewards card? We are wondering if hotels like the Swan/Dolphin would accept the rewards card. I haven't been able to find out for sure thru Chase, anyone know for sure?

No. The Swan and Dolphin are not owned by Disney, so they don't accept Disney Rewards Cards or Disney Gift Cards as a form of payment.

Figures I would find the correct answer after I post the question. Actually, you can use the rewards at the Swan/Dolphin as well as a few other non-Disney hotels.

On re-reading that link and hotel list, its just the gift shops of the non-Disney hotels. Darn.
