Is there a place at the parks where I CANNOT use my Rewards Card to pay for things? Also, what about the value resorts? Can I use it at the food court to pay?

Anyone have any problems trying to use it at WDW and it not being accepted?

Thanks!

What we do is just charge everything to the room . Then I make one payment useing the rewards card to pay down the KTTK bill . This way it takes the entire amount off the card all at once.

I used it all over the place. I used it at Captain Cook's, the CS place at the Poly. I also used it at shops throughout the world without any trouble at all.

don't have the ability to take the Rewards Card. For example, I had shadow pictures done of the kids and she could not process the card, had to pay cash. A couple of instances like this occurred but they were few and far between. We had almost $600 on our Rewards card (gotta love college tuition!). That, along with Free Dining, allowed us to use almost no cash at all for our 10 day trip last year!!

We first used ours in 2005 and a lot of the castmembers didn't have a clue at what it was. The only place I remember that wouldn't take it was Rainforest Cafe. It was very convenient! We used it for our food and for souvenirs. This year we are doing the DDP, so we will probably use the $450 towards the price of our package.

I have the DV... Exactly what discounts do you get or what rewards do you get besides the spend $2k, get $20 in Disney Dollars???

We went to Disney in February and had no problems using the Rewards card in any of the places we tried (resorts, resort restaurants, World of Disney, and all the parks). We never had any problems using it. I would check out the link that Disneyanajc posted above if there are specific places you have questions about. We had originally planned to use our dollars to take off part of the price of our package (we had $450) which is also a good idea, but instead we decided to keep it for spending money and I am glad we did because we used it for things that we knew we would have to pay for like stroller rental and then for splurges like stuff for a Disney kitchen! :goodvibes It was nice to get our room bill at the end of the week and not have a huge amount on it!
