Disney Rewards card at Narcoosees?

Has anyone used their Disney visa rewards card successfully at Narcoosees? I keep seeing threads about only certain restaurants taking it (listed on the chase visa site) and I was really hoping to use ours here for a nice dinner. Thanks!

There might be some restaurants that are third-party participants that might not take the card. The restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin would be a good example of that.

Narcoosee's is run by Disney. You will not have a problem using the rewards card. It will be treated like any of the Disney issued gift cards, with a debit applied to the remaining balance on the card.

We used Disney Visa rewards dollars for our dinner at Narcoossee's in Sept. '09. It made the high price easier to take.

We used our rewards there in May "10 and it did help with the out of pocket espensive we had after using the dining plan.

There are very few restaurants or shops at any park or Disney owned resort that do not accept the Rewards card. Finding places that accept the Disney rewards dollars will not be a problem.

To make life easier why dont you use the rewards card on your room payment or add it to your room account and just use the room key to pay for it?

Hi! Just back from the world.. we ate at Narcoosee's on Thursday the 16th. We were 2 parties on the deluxe dining plan. However I used my Visa Rewards card for both gratuties. I just put the total amount I wanted to tip on my bill , told the server I wanted to put the gratutity on the rewards card & gave her both my room key(for the dining plan) & my rewards card. I had to sign a slip for the dining plan & a slip for the rewards card. No problem at all.

I used the rewards card this way all week & every server was fine with it. Never had a server who didn't know what it was. No problems what so ever.
