It's been a long while since trying to redeem, other than applying to the credit card. If we want to redeem dollars and have them send us a redemption card, is that specific to the credit card owner, or can anybody in the family use it at the parks?

Whom ever is holding the card at that time, so do not lose it. LOL

After you obtain the rewards redemption card it can be used by anyone similar to a gift card. (although its not a gift card).

Technically the Rewards Redemption Card is still tied to the credit card account, but they don't ask for ID to use it. Just don't lose it as it can be reloaded.

Will you be going to Disney with them?

If you want to use your rewards dollars swipe your visa and you will earn 1-2% back on that purchase depending on the card. After the transaction is no longer pending and has posted you can then choose the option called “Pay Yourself Back” to wipe off the charge.

Much better than transferring to the old card as you continue to earn on your spend.

If you want to pick up someone else’s charges have them use their magicband to charge to the room if they are not with you at the moment. Then stop at the front desk of the hotel and ask to pay xx amount and then do the same Pay yourself back to wipe the purchase.

I’ve already loaded my rewards onto a redemption card. Can I transfer them back into my account to “pay myself back”? Wasn’t aware of this option.

Unfortunately not. However if you think you might lose the card you could use it towards a digital gift card at shop Disney that can be loaded to google and Apple wallets.

because we are going this NOV and my daughter can use it.
If the intention is to give your daughter some spending money you can buy a Gift card at shopdisney.com or in the park with your Disney Visa so that you will earn 1 or 2% back depending on which card you have. Then after the transaction posts you go in and choose Pay Your Self Back and wipe out the charge so the GC actually will cost a little less this way compared to transferring to the redemption card.
