This information will probably benefit NO ONE - but I thought I'd pass it along, anyway...
We spent the Memorial Day weekend at the Wilderness Lodge Villas - took my niece and a bunch of her friends over for her high school graduation present.
I put my new "Disney Visa" down on my room for charging priveleges on my room key.
On a few occasions, the "kids" would give me $$, and I'd just put the whole dinner on my room charge.
On the morning we checked out, I went to the front desk and put this cash down on my account - just so I didn't have to walk around with all the cash.
Well - when they posted this credit - it ended up getting posted to my Disney Visa as a "return" - which means that $$ amount will be taken aways from the total purchases for this month - so I won't accrue Disney Dollars against that amount. It "wasn't" a "return" - obviously - but I certainly understand that that is how the credit card company has to look at it...
Not a big deal - but I now realize that, in the future - I should just use that cash towards my payment when I return home, instead of putting it down on the room charge...
Every little bit helps, right?!?
Just FYI...
