Disney Reward Dollars Question

We will have accumulated almost $700 in Disney Reward Dollars by our Sept. trip. Our package is already paid for. Can I put the Reward Dollars on our resort account to be used when we charge items to our room?

Lisa3- On our last trip, we had them apply our Disney Award Balance to our room the day before we checked out. It worked great. I'm sure you could do it on any day of you vacation.

They are points/dollars you earn when you use your Disney Visa. You get 1% ($1 for every $100 you spend). The reward dollars can be used at The Disney Store, WDW, DL etc .....

How do you redeem the reward dollars? I have a few accumulated, but don't know how to use them.

You have to go to the first usa website and sign in for your accouunt. There choose manage rewards. Youll be able to get a card (Looks like a credit card) that comes with your points on it, that is usable anywhere in the parks that takes cards.

Once you get your card you can call or visit the website (I use www.bankone.com/disney) and transfer the points to your card as you earn them. I think you have to initially transfer 10 or 20 points but after that you can transfer any amount. Someone correct me if I'm wrong . . .

I wouldn't transfer them to the card until just before I was ready to use them. In the account I think they are valid for 5 years. Once you transfer them to the card they expire after a year.

There is also a phone number listed on your monthly statement that you can call to order your Disney Dream Rewards $'s.
