disney reward dollars/exchange in park?

We got the $200 offer and just used our crad today. We will be in the world on 3 weeks. I know it is cutting it close, but if the reward dollars post to our account, can we get the $200 gift card at Guest services in the parks?

Yes you can pick a card up at Downtown Disney at Guest Services. Then you will be directed to a phone to call the CC company to have the points transferred. It is very easy and takes less than 5 min. I just did it back in August.

There is a lot of information at the Disney Rewards site but it takes some time to get thru it all.

You can get your POINTS in the park. In my experience, the gift card came in the mail. Worth a call to check, though.

I did this on our last trip, at guest services at Animal Kingdom, without any problems. I believe you can get a rewards card and transfer your points at any guest services location.

I explained to the Guest Services CM that I wanted to get a rewards card for my Disney Visa and then transfer the points from my account to the card. She gave me a card and then put me on the phone with Chase to have them transfer the points.

The process went smoothly and took maybe 15 minutes at the most.

Check when your account billing cycle closes - your points won't be available to transfer until after that date, even if you pay if off early. They run on a 30-day cycle so it will be cutting it very close - but good luck!

I just signed up for the $200 offer this week. I already have a Disney VISA for years, and didn't know I could have 2. How long did it take the card to come from the time you were approved? I have a trip in 5 weeks & another in 8 weeks & am hoping I can get the card, make a purchase & have my billing cycle close in enough time to use it on one of the trips.

I think it says it will take 10 business days but I've always gotten mine sooner. I try & order it a month ahead if I have time. You can always transfer more points to it online if you need to, right before you go (or do it in the parks).
