Disney Restaurants sold out!!!

So I almost had to cancel my upcoming trip as I am a transplant patient and then to top it off I ended up having surgery in the middle of July to have a hernia repaired.

Well my Dr's give me the to go, but have instructed me not to do any major rides.... Rockin' Roller Coaster, Space, etc. I agree....

So this is a solo trip for me,, and I cannot get one darn ADR that I would like for my entire trip! You must be some hungry people... j/k. I was able to get a few good ADR's, but had to work at it.... I was even able to get a 5:00pm Hoop-de. doo.

So looks like I will be making some calls in the morning while at the world to see what is available. I am so happy that I get to go!

Check with Guest Services at your hotel if you are staying on property the day before. People cancel all the time. You can also go to the resteraunt in the morning and see if there is any availability. They usually allow for a certain amount of walk ins but I would go and ask early in the day as they can only take a certain amount of people without ADRs.

We thought this would be a problem on our last minute trip also. It worked out just fine, we just had to be flexible.

That title is misleading. SOME Disney Restaurants are sold out. There are some that always are but as you stated you were able to get ADRs. We don't want to get people inyo hysterics thinking they will not be able to eat ans waste away to nothing on vacation

Keep calling--a restaurant isn't sold out until it is unavailable at the date/time you want it.

We have been able to get some places we wanted even after arrival at WDW. Of course, I canceled those that I had taken instead, which opened them up for someone else. People cancel or fail to show up...and especially as a solo traveller, you can take their spot!

I was able to get reservations at guest services in the parks in june that were not available when I called, They had sign out front that said what restaurants were available for that day.

Maybe you should expand your choices a little? I called less than a week ago to make ressie's at the Wave and San Angel Inn for our sept 5-10 trip. I asked for a specific day for each and for dinner for our party of 2. There were several time choices available for each one, I didn't even have to alter my days. They weren't "choice" times mind you, but I have no problem at all with eating at 5:50 or 8:30
