We are going to WDW in OCt 08...I have purchased a Dining package. Was wondering if there are any restaurants that are a must that we visit? What character dining experience is a must? Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

Welcome to the Dis.. glad you found us...here is the Dis' list of restaurants by location: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/disneydining.cfm

You might want to check that out. As far as my personal faves, ones I always go to when in WDW, they are Spoodles, Brown Derby, Citrico's, Raglan Road, Beaches and Cream, Yacht Club Galley and at Epcot, we always eat at England, Japan, France.. There are so many different choices that I am sure you will find one that you like and it will become your personal fave.

As far as character dining, I do not do that as much anymore now that my children are grown, but one I do like is Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner in Magic Kingdom.

Our favorite in the MK (even though we don't have children) - is Crystal Palace. Love the food - and the characters. The Biergarten in Epcot is good. For adults, California Grill and Artist Point are definitely the "fine dining" we enjoy. We had a ball at the Hoop Di Do Revue last year at the Wilderness Campground - a lot of fun for kids and adults. We do enjoy OHana too in the Polynesian and Boma in AKL. A lot will depend if you have children, their ages, and how "adventurous" their taste buds may be! Have a great trip!

I would recommend Crystal Palace with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore. Le Cellier is good. If you want to eat at the signature places Nacoosess, California Grill and Jikos:thumbsup2

Our must do's on every trip (we are AP holders so we go about 6x's per year)are:

Cape May breakfast and dinner
Kona breakfast
WPE lunch or dinner

Our must do's on a trip at least once during the year (but not on every single trip) would be:

CP breakfast
Kona breakfast
HOB lunch
Beirgarten dinner
Le Cellier lunch or dinner
50's Prime Time dinner
