Disney Resort to Universal for family

Hello,

We will be staying on Disney property starting March 7-16 and I was curious what my options might be for transportation to Universal Studios from the resort. We are a family of 5. 2 adults, 2 children ages 7 and 5 and one toddler 18 months.

I'm not to sure if an Uber would work in our case. Looking for advice.

Will you have a car seat with you for the 18 mos old ? If so, you can use Uber XL (or Lyft). Also, several people on the Boards use Tony Hinds, I tried to use him one year but he was booked and referred me to a buddy of his. If you don't have your own car seat, I'm not sure what your options are, I'm sure someone will have an idea.

I won't have one. It looks like Uber has an option in their Uber XL to choose one equipped with a car seat. I guess we'll see when we are there.

When ours were car seat age, we used professional car services such as Tiffany Town Car, FL Tours, etc. A PP mentioned Tony Hinds, who I’ve never used, but he tends to get really good reviews around here.

Uber does have that 1 car seat option, but availability is always a question. With due respect to Uber drivers (many of whom are professional drives themselves), we were always more comfortable with the reliability of scheduling our transportation in advance and dealing with professional drivers/services who routinely provide transportation to families with car seat age needs visiting Orlando. It was worth the extra cost, for us.
