Disney Resort to DCL transfers

We've already done 2 Disney cruises and we paid $70 each for round trip through DCL transfers. But our youngest just turned 3 and now we have to pay an additional $70 for her as well.
For a group of 4 that's $280, plus our FIL, MIL and SIL are joining us on the cruise. Now it's $490 for 7 people through DCL.

We've been searching around by looking through various websites and forums. I got several names including "VIP Executive Limo", "Beach Line", "Sunrise", "FL Tour", "Tiffany" and "Happy Limo".

We've heard great things about "VIP executive Limo" but they are the most expensive out of the whole list. I'm sure they're a great company but wanted to know if any one has tried one of the others. We want to make a stop at a grocery store on the way back.

We're thinking of trying "SUNRISE TRANSPORTATION" but wanted to know if anyone has anything positive of negative.

Thanks in advance.

When is your cruise? We have booked Happy Hour for our transfer from Disney resort to Port Canaveral. Good reviews on Trip Advisor, but have no prior experience with booking transfers outside of DCL so this is our first time for same reasons - we will be 8 people. Happy Hour
will do a grocery stop along the way.

PS see you guys are from Canada. So are we (New Brunswick).

We have used Fl. Tours many times and never a hitch - even when I reserved the wrong day for the end of our cruise.

They are also a sponsor of the boards and help bring you this forum! So we support them.

We're from Kanata which is a suburb of Ottawa. We have 7 people and cruise is from Dec 8 to 12, then we go back to Disney for a week. But we also want to do a grocery stop on the way to Disney resort from the cruise.

We contacted FL Tours and their rates are really great. Unfortunately they usually only do Grocery stop on the way to the cruise. But we're staying at a Disney resort for a week after the cruise. For grocery stop on the way back FL Tours said we'd have to be at the van at 8 am sharp at Port Canaveral.

I called DCL and the agent said the cruise will arrive in the port at 7:30 am, and it will take 15 to 20 minutes before it clears. Then the captain will announce around 8 am that passengers can disembark, and it can take up to 30 minutes to get luggage and clear customs - so any shuttle/limo pick up should be no earlier than 8:30 am.

So FL tours is not a possibility unless we skip the grocery stop on the way back.

Why not take FL Tours to WDW (no stop), then a few members of the party grab a taxi to a grocery store. Would seem to be much easier than taking the whole family.

We just need to pick up a couple of cases of water bottles and couple of boxes or cookies, crackers and granola bars. I'd say its tops 10 minute stop.

Can some one point me to the official thread that discusses all the different transfer options to DCL. Thanks in advance.

We've used Happy Limo numerous times and have always had great, efficient service. They do grocery store stops coming or going. They also give a 10% discount if you mention allears.net. BTW allears is an awesome resource for WDW.

Just hoping to save you a little cash and weight, I'm curious if there is a reason you need a couple of cases of bottled water? The water onboard the ships is processed the same as most bottled water (reverse osmosis and filtered). Many people just bring a refillable water bottle onboard and fill up (from either the drink station or the tap in your room) to use around the ship and on excursions.

He wants the water for WDW, he needs the grocery stop after the cruise.

you could use one of the grocery delivery services like https://www.gardengrocer.com/

We used Garden Grocers last year and they were great (but pricey and limited selection). If we aren't able to find a shuttle that will do grocery stop on the way back then we will definitely consider it again.

Last year we were at WDW for 4 nights so we only order 1 case of water and fewer snacks for the group of 7 before our 1 week cruise.

This year we're doing 4 nights cruise first and then 7 nights WDW after (which is the opposite of last year). Thanks so much to every one who's provided useful tips here. I will be calling Happy Limo and Sunrise Transportation to get quotes from them.

Do not use Executive VIP Limo. Our driver was one of the owners, Marlene, who was late, rude and picked us up in a 1995 beat up minivan that smelled of smoke. LIMO??? And it was more expensive and stress provoking that just hiring a shuttle. Fo yourself a favor and stay away.
