Last time we stayed at Port Orleans, way back in 2000), we had unlimited magic passes (as they were called then) and I remember that our room keycard was also our park pass, and could also be used to pay for items in the shops and restaurants in resort, and also in the theme parks. This was great as it saved us having to carry our credit card around with us.

This time round we will have annual passes.

Does anyone know if we can still have our room keycard set up so we can use it to pay for goods in the parks and in resort?

Thanks :D

Yes you can. Any guest staying at a Disney Resort can opt to charge to their room account by leaving a credit card imprint at the front desk when checking in. It is not dependent on what park admission you use.
