Disney Resort Picture of the Day!!!

disneywithfive, you are doing nothing wrong there is a minimum amount of posts before you can post picts. It's not too many but I do forget the number I think it is between 10-50 . 1 or 2 days of some serious posting should help lol

I just don't get a lot of you. If you don't want to see certain pictures, you don't have to look at them. You can use the ignore button. There are some resort pictures I'm not particularly interested in so I just pass them by. I'm sorry but some of this seems really mean spirited. I mean have you really looked at FC's pictures? Why get so up in arms if this makes him happy?

In the FAQ section... "6. STAYING ON TOPIC: The boards are named to reflect general topics. Please refrain from asking questions about park hours on the DVC board, or questions about the Caribbean Beach on the Trip Reports board. "

Its pretty clear that he is off topic. "Resort picture of the day", not "picture with Character of the day", etc..... I dont want to be difficult but it appears that he may be doing it just to get a response. I have alot of pics of the parks, of family with characters, of friends near flowers but I refrain from posting them because it is off topic. If he wants to post then start a thread of his own. This is a huge thread that lots of people have contributed to and it seems a waste to let it go away from its initial purpose.

We had a water view room and got an upgrade to the suite at the end of the South Garden wing! I am familiar with the WL (parents like it there) and it is a very nice resort, but the transportation and small room sizes prevent us from staying there.

We feel the same way. Plus there's nothing like being on the monorail!

You seem to be struggling with what people are trying to say regarding the intention of this thread. The purpose is so that people can see pictures of the resorts, oftentimes because they have never had the opportunity to visit these resorts. The fact that you took the picture at a resort is really irrelevant because we cannot see the actual resort. I think that people are simply trying to tell you that you would be better suited posting on a character thread.

Yes lets just have fun and post pictures. That is what I wanted to do, but some people have been giving me a hard time. Now all you people who have a problem with my photos why don't you either just ignore me or drop it or something like that. The Magic of Disney is about being happy and this is a Disney board so I say lets just all be happy and have fun

This is a Resort thread where you can post pictures of Disney resorts and pictures that where taken at the Resorts. Now I posted a photo of a large icon on this thread. The icon was Lady from Lady and the Tramp and this icon is at the Resorts. Other people on this thread have posted large icons on this thread and those icons are at the Resorts.

Now I don't see any posts that say we can't post large icons on this thread. Those icons are at the Resorts so some of us have posted them on this thread. The photos that I have had taken with the characters where taken at the Resorts so I post them on this thread. When I post a photo of me with Suzy and Perla at the 1900 park fair that is the same as me posting a large icon of Lady on this thread. The 1900 park fair is part of the resorts and the Lady icon is part of the resorts.

If you want to ignore a poster just go to their profile and look for something that says " add member to your ignore list " and click on that.

I enjoy looking at most of the resort pictures. Please stop worrying about what someone's pictures and let the rest of us enjoy this thread. Look at what you find enjoyable and pass the ones you don't like.

Junior high school comments like these are more annoying than FC's pics.

This is the first thread I view everytime I come on the Dis. Let's see some more pictures and less comments, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease! Now I'm going to practice what I preach and scan some of my resort photos.
