Disney Resort pcg. question

We have reservations at Hojo but I was checking prices on Disney website for the resort hotels & ticket pcg. When I check the price of Hotel & Tickets seperately vs a pcg together, the price came out to be 254.50 more to book together. Does anyone know why this is?

Never mind, I talked to them on chat and they couldn't figure out why, then told me the hotel sold out.

I believe it's because in the package they charge full price for the tickets, not the promo prices you can get now. IMO, usually booking seperately is cheaper.

It just happens sometimes. That's why we have to do all the research for each vacation we plan, because what was true for one trip might not be true for the other.

From what I know, the inventory available when you call can be different than the inventory available online. And the inventory for packages can be different than that for room only. So if what you want is still available online, you might try anyway.

And if you're booking HoJo, remember that there's a 15% discount just for mentioning taht you're a user of the disboards (you do have to call the Anaheim property directly, during business hours on Pacific time, AND ask for "in house reservations").

Don't forget the tickets for MTTMM and the backpack if you use your Disney Visa. Or the character breakfast if you book through costco.. BTW op, none of these are worth the extra $$$ to book the package

Another reason...the system automatically assumes you want their vacation insurance unless you opt out...
