I haven't checked out the recipes on Allearsnet but I'm sure some of them come from the Delicious Disney cookbook which we picked up back in 2007 at WDW. We have tried a couple of recipes from it.
We tried the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup and it was fantastic! It serves 10 though and there's only 2 of us so we ended up eating way too much of it. It is too rich to eat by the gallon!
We also tried the Peanut Butter 'n Jelly Shake. I thought it was kind of gross. I didn't see what the big deal was about it.
We tried the Shrimp and Prosciutoo Penne Pasta and that was very nice. I'd definitely make it again.

Do you mind to tell me the name of your cookbook? I collect cookbooks and would love to have a Disney one.
I know that PB&J shake gets a lot of love here on the DIS but I can't wrap my mind around that being good. Especially since I don't even like PB&J's. We just stick with the chocolate shakes when we go to 50's.

I make the Trail's End cornbread all the time. It has a surprising amount of sugar in it, actually, but my family LOVES it. I'm vegan, so I use egg replacer instead of the eggs called for in the recipe but it still comes out delicious.
I have a few of the Disney cookbooks, including from Food & Wine Fest. So far I have not made one thing. DH made one recipe out of the F&W.
I have made the cream of mushroom soup from a recipe I got from Brown Derby. But it just did not taste the same.
It was MUCH better at the BD. I think they doctor it up in the restaurant and then give away a standard recipe.

Cream of mushroom soup sounds great. It's a shame it didn't turn out exactly like you wanted. I would love to try the grapefruit cake recipe but I'm afraid it won't turn out the same either.
We have delicious disney too.
We made strawberry soup (added wrong kind of frozen strawberries but it was still good), Canadian cheddar cheese soup, , smores (don't really need a recipe for this) tonga toast (I never had at disney but the fat and heaviness of this made both me and DD6 kind of sick all day)
