Disney Raffle Prize advice?

Hi DISers!

My school was lucky to get four one-day hoppers to WDW as a prize for our main fundraiser this year. I purchased a two night stay at the B Resort (Mousesavers deal) to go along with the tickets. What else can I add to entice raffle ticket buyers? We are in Michigan, so some folks would make the drive, others would fly. I haven't gotten any bites for airfare donations. SeaWorld said no to tickets already, but that was when we did not have the hotel set, so I may try again.

We could add gas cards? Additional chain restaurant or Disney gift cards?

Any advice would deb appreciated. Happy 2016!

Michele

I agree with katie, I think Disney gift cards are your best bet. Then, if you're planning to package it all up in a nice gift basket you can head to the dollar store for some travel accessories (sleep mask, travel tooth brush, neck pillow, crossword puzzle and sudoku books), and some disney items. Honestly, it already sounds like something I'd bid on.

I would have seen if I could have gotten a hotel donation - the Gaylord chain gave me one before, although not the Florida branch (and some parents will donate one of their timeshare weeks to get the charity write off for points they wouldn't otherwise use)...

To add value, since it seems most of the other "big attractions" don't donate, I would look to see if any of the smaller events donate (like the Titanic Exhibit, Wonderworks, Ripley's, Madame Tussauds/Sea Life/Orlando Eye, Crayola Experience, GatorLand, Fun Spot, Skeletons, Orlando Science Center, mini golf, escape rooms, trampoline parks, etc)...a weeklong trip to a 2 bedroom condo with tickets to Disney and 2 more of these attractions could be a huge money bringer (without any other bells and whistles)...if you could get restaurants that are in Disney Springs or Universal CityWalk or chains around the area to include, that would also be great.

Thanks for the input! Disney gift cards would be best, I'll start to solicit those from our parents.

Love the basket idea of travel items too!

Just saw your post--great idea on the "other" attractions! I have done Hard Rock rewards that I could possibly use for a gift card.

We have a two night stay at the B Resort which sleeps five, so I am hoping that helps the package.

Thanks!
