thinking of going to the springs a few hours in June when they open- I believe Disney springs opens at 10? How is Disney Qwest? Do they also open at 10:00. I don't know much about it except it is arcade. Does admission pay for everything you do there?


Looks like it is on the west side do they have boats to take you to other sections?

I think DQ opens at 11am or maybe noon, I forget exactly. Yes, admission pays for everything, unless there is something I'm forgetting. You can buy things of course...for example there is a virtual roller coaster. You design the track and then ride it in the simulator. It can flip, etc... There is a video of you riding it which you can buy if you want. We never do. A lot of them are more than just basic arcade games, there are a lot of simulator type rides. One is like sitting in a raft, one is flying on a magic carpet, one is on a pirate ship, etc... There are places to get food on the upper levels, but last time we were there, it wasn't open.

DQ is closing for good on July 3rd, so if you want to see it, do it on your June trip.

If they don't open at 10- we may shop eat lunch then go. Do they have lockers to hold what we purchase?

They definitely open later than 10, 11 or 12 as klayfish stated.

Everything is free. They use to have a recording studio and Sid's create a toy from Toy Story-not sure either of those are still there. I'm hoping for the create a toy thing because that was one of the very first things my DS did on his first trip when he was just 6, he's now 22 and I think it would be a neat memory for him to relive when we go in May.

Sorry I can't answer about the lockers, in all the times we've been there I don't think I've see them, but I wasn't looking for them either.

DQ is a favorite of ours and we always spend a few hours there at least once a trip, we will really miss it.

They do have a water taxi that runs to 3 different stops in Disney springs. Not sure if you have ever been to dtd or if you have kids but disneyquest is pretty low on my to do list at DS. It's old and tired.
