Hi, can anyone tell me anything about 'disney quest ' eg. what is it and best days to visit etc. Thanks

H Bozzly,

It's like a huge indoor amusement arcade (except much better than that!)

It's not everyone's cup of tea but we love it. Lots of info about prices and what there is to do here If you've any questions after you've digested that, let me know :)

Cheers

Karen

Hi Bozzly

Just wanted to second what Karen said, DisneyQuest is a lot of fun especially if you are into computer games/virtual reality stuff, though there are all kinds of attractions.

Our personal favourite is the Pirates of the Caribbean game, where you don VR headsets and step foot on a pirate boat to sail the high seas and shoot cannons at other ships to steal their treasure. We've even managed to get the top ranking a couple of times!

Have to mention the Buzz Lightyear ride too - like enclosed bumper cars but whoever isn't driving gets to shoot balls at the other cars to try to make them spin out of control! Pretty good for road rage.....

Oh, and as for times to visit, we like to go in the evenings as it's usually open until 11 pm or midnight, and stay for a couple of hours until closing. It does get busy, but the lines have never been more than a few minutes for us (though you can never get on the dancing games :sad2: ), but we've never been in high season, so if you are, maybe someone else could advise?

Hope you get chance to visit - I can't wait to be there again in May.

I must say i was really looking forward to spending a coupe of hours in here onour last trip but was very disappointed.i think in the end we were in there less than half an hour, but tbh games ect are not really my cup of tea and it didn't help that the whole of florida had the same idear that day.

we usaly get an annual for the water parks wich includes DQ you can only buy at the gate not over the internet makes for a nice day morning waterpark evening DQ cost i think is about $130.00 well worth it

You pay to enter the building - therefore you can't watch for free. There are a few things you pay extra for but we spent a couple of hours there without paying for anything else. We had lunch there and the portions were very generous for counter service.
I enjoyed the family "rides" most, especially the pirate ship but in general I found the place very claustraphobic.

I'd agree with the comments that DQ is not everyone's cup of tea - me and son (10, techie sort already) loved it, wife wouldn't even go in, got her ticket still.

Full of many large scale games, much more than an arcade, many original games never seen elsewhere as well as the simple air-hockey and basketball stuff you see everywhere else.

Best go when it looks like rain and you in the Downtown Disney area - needs at least 3 hours to do it justice.

Last time we went there was 13 of us, the youngest 4 the oldest 60. We all had a great time, in fact we went back again. Its high on our list for this year too.
