Disney quest

Walked into disney quest this past February and enjoyed it, but not much has changed we it in a long time.

I kept looking at several attractions they have saying to myself , that's practically a Star Wars rip off. Now that they own it why don't they change it to STar wars.

So, will disney quest ever get some love and something new ?

That superhero light saber thing is screaming Star Wars ( flight saber fight over tattoine on a desert air skiff ) as is the Aladdin thing ( speeder bike on endor )
And that space ship thing would make a great 360 space battle on the millennium falcon or something.

I can't help but really see these things as a great way to make disney quest exciting again.

It seems like disney has nothing planned for it and sort of wishes it would die as I don't see much change over the last 20 years.

DisneyQuest is essentially a giant video arcade... it is heaven for the old school mall V-gamers... Gauntlet anyone? I would like to see some new love/games added to DisneyQuest, but not retheming oldrides/games with a StarWars veneer. Personally I like Aladdin's magic carpet ride as Aladdin... I do not want obnoxious baby Anakin on a pod racer... that would not be exciting to me.

It seems like right now the popular answer is "Change it to Star Wars"... "Avatarland? Yuck Change it to Starwars"... "Epcot could use a Starwars theme"... "StarWars 5th gate"... "Make the Great Movie Ride Starwars". It is not the answer to everything and all parks! Not everyone eats and breathes Star Wars. Don't get me wrong, I think a Starwars expansion at Hollywood is a natural and needed fit, and I would be excited to go... just like I will be happy to go see Pandora... and Diagon Alley... becuase they are new. I really think variety is key.

I am kind of shocked that they have been able to keep those things running for this long. They are using ANCIENT tech. 15+ years old? most of the backend probably doesn't even exist anymore (think they were using SGI systems).

This place is begging for a massive refurb.

My thoughts exactly, the graphics are very outdated , modern stuff would look so much cooler and would bring a lot of life into the place I think
