Disney Quest???

Thank you that did help, but have you been? Is it worth going to? Is there anything special I should know or do? :confused3

Been there twice. DS and DD love it (as do I).

Here's a couple threads that will provide more info:

I think you would enjoy it (it's not just for kids), but if you're giving up something else to go to DQ, you'll need to be the judge on whether to go or not. If you have any specific questions, you might want to post in the "Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies" forum -- many more DISers will notice your question there.

For us, we weren't really impressed. We are going back to WDW this Christmas and Disney Quest in not going to happen. It was really crowded and we thought there would be more to it. To be fair, it wasn't all bad, just not for us. We spent more time shopping Downtown than we spent in Disney Quest! DH was disappointed because a lot of the games were old arcade game. Then again, that was us.
Whatever you decide, have fun.

DH and I went on a "date night" last week and went to Disney Quest before our dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. We spent 2 hours before dinner and an hour after dinner playing old video games and a couple of virtual reality games. We had a great time, but our admission was complimentary, so I am not sure how much I would actually pay to go to Disney Quest. They have a virtual jungle cruise "ride" that was a lot of fun.....3-d pirate adventure that we enjoyed....a create-your-own virtual coaster...and some other virtual reality attractions that we did not do. The animation academy was fun! My dh did not do this, but I enjoyed learning how to draw Mickey. Mostly we played the old video games....pacman, centipede, ski-ball (they did not call them ski-ball, but it was the same thing)...lots of shooting and racing games. We went at night during a slow time of the year, so we had the place to ourselves. Plus I was able to get a slice of Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory....so that makes it all worth it!

That's what my husband and I were going to do. My parents are going to take our children for a night, and I thought it might be fun.

Thank you all so much for the information. After reading about how many things are older, (games,) I think we may pass it up this time.
