DISNEY QUEST questions please..

ok....so DH REALLY wants to do Dis Quest....we did not go the first year cuz we could NOT afford it.Now I wanna take him so I am saving up NOW for the tix.Who knows much about this place?We were thinking about going the afternoon we check into our hotel..is this too late?say around 5 or 6?i know the guide said to go early..BUT we dont wanna spend an entire day here.How are the crowds?is it chaos?I am not really into video games,,but it did look fun......how is the food?what do u reccomend?and finally..does anyone know the cost of the game when u make your own toy(or doll..whatever it is)thanks!!!!!

We went around 2 pm and it wasn't crowded at all. I have a friend who absolutely loves Quest but we weren't that impressed, well DH was but myself and DD's were not. Alot of the games were down when we went and it was easy to get turned around. I was also trying to keep up with a very active 3 and 8 year old while DH was playing. I probably won't go back.
