My kids are 12 DD, 7 DS, and 5 DD and I have told them we will only be able to do one of these places. I have never been to either of them. My oldest daughter is cautious about DQ because she doesn't like simulators and is afraid the virtual reality things may make her sick. I am sure they will all enjoy the cirque de soleil but my 7 DS would love all the games at DQ. Will my 5 yr old be able to do things at DQ?/

We have only been to Disneyquest, DH, DD13 and DD11. I have to say that we all had a great time. We were there in November on a VERY uncrowded Thursday. We got there shortly after it opened and except for stopping to eat we were there until the place closed. DD11 loved doing the animated drawing classes and also making her own cd. We did the virtual reality family things and liked them. The kids did the cyber roller coaster thing about 20 times. We all played the video games, pinball games, racing games, etc. I felt like we were on sensory overload when we left but BOY did we ever get our moneys worth!!

I vote for Cirque if you think your children will be able to sit through the show. It is amazing. We dont have children but we did see alot of children there.

Cirque for sure! There is so much action in that show (going on all over the stage) that I can't see how even a little kid would not be enthralled. :thumbsup2

It is hard to compare as they are very different experiences. Cirque is also a lot more expensive than disney quest.
Cirque is a 2 hour show, my kids would spend all day at DQ. I would do Cirque, my kids DQ.....

There is a 51 inch height limit for two of the most popular attractions at DQ: Cyberspace Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Astroblaster. It's quite possible that two of your children will not qualify. My 9yo just barely made it this year!

Cirque du Soleil is by far the best option, especially if you've never seen a Cirque show before. It is truly amazing and very likely you will all enjoy it. But it will cost you more than twice as much as DQ.
