Disney quest for 5 year old?

DS saw disney quest in his disney for kids book, and is dying to go now. He will be 51/2 and loves games. How much time should I alot to this if I do take him. Thinking it would be something for ds and dh. I am not even sure if we have enough time. Thoughts?

IMO, DisneyQuest is horrible. It's dark, loud and has corners jutting out everywhere. Kids are zooming around. Sounds of video games everywhere.

It is heaven for 10-14 year old boys who love video games. They could spend all day in there. 5 year olds probably won't need as long!

If I were you, I'd look into DQ and pick stuff for DH and DS to do - like the river raft thing. Then let them go do that while you go shopping.

That's my advice.

On the 4th floor there is a section of 10-12 games that are sized for young children. You could grab something to eat at the counter service nearby and let him go.

He should also be able to do some of the virtual games and I believe there are stools to step up on for the bigger games (well, there used to be anyway).

Disney Quest would be okay if it were half the price...or less. It hasn't been updated to my knowledge in a looooooooong time and from what I remember there isn't a whole lot for a 5 year old. I agree it's better for tweens, but even then, for 1/2 the price it is now. If it's included in your tickets it might be fun for an hour or two, but if you have to pay to get in I would skip it.

Not in our tickets. I think that I will just let it go and hope he forgets. If dh decides to drive over one day than so be it, what is the price?
