Disney Quest Closing?

We were hoping to go there next June (07) but I thought I had read that they will be closing it at DD. What does anybody know about this? and when that might happen?

Its said to be closing in January of 2008.

Yes. DQ is closing. They are modifying it to ESPN Zone. There's one in NYC and it is quite popular. I hope they keep a lot of their original games and interactive stuff.

It's such a great place.

Whew!!! I'm happy that I'll time to go there before it closes, my son was nagging me to go there last time, but we did not have time.... so we will go on this trip!!!! I hope they will put those games somewhere else...

Oh no! I hate when stuff closes at Disney. I will definitely visit there during my next trip.

That's too bad that they're closing it down but I do understand why they're closing DQ down. Thankfully DH and I have plenty of time to go before they close it down. Planning our tirp for 2007.

Many of the arcade games are also found in other areas notably the game rooms at the resorts, but not "free" or "pay one price" or "included in water park fun".

Closure of DQ is simply another matter of "took up too much space and did not make enough money". Apparently Pleasure Island became the same way.
