Too young? Would he have fun? I've never been........could he find anything exciting to do inside?

Thanks!

I would think that 3-1/2 is too young. There are height requirements on a lot of games. The best ages seem to be 8-yrs and up. I can't remember seeing any games that he play.

We have taken our DS to Disney Quest from the time he was 3 mostly because his older brother and sister wanted to go. He did find things to do....e.g., hung out about an hour doing a boat driving game. They have some games for younger kids which are similar to those that they have at Chuck E. Cheese but those are 'ticket games' which means you have to buy tokens, so after paying the steep admission prices, we declared those as 'off limits.' He was happy with the majority of the games which are included in admission--we never let him play traditional arcade games at home, but after paying the DQ admission price, everything's free so what the heck. (Nobody else seemed interested in playing the games he played anyway.) There are also some computer painting, cake decorating, build-a-toy games in the 'Create Zone' that young kids can do. Bottom line is that a 3 year old is too young to do the unique games, but if you think he'd enjoy typical arcade and computer games and you're willing to pay the price, you will be able to find things he can do (even if he doesn't do them 'well.') Net, if you're killing time or others in the family are interested and you don't mind spending the money, a 3 year old will probably be happy going along. It's kind of expensive though taking into consideration what a 3 year old would get out of.....a 3 year old would probably be just as happy playing at the Lego store, and that's free!

We went to DQ with our DS3 and DD6. We only went because it was included in our UPH tickets. DS enjoyed the family rides -- Jungle Cruise and Pirates of theCarribean. He also enjoyed the floor which had Chuck E. Cheese type games. We didn't have to purchase tokens. I believe many had token slots, but didn't require tokens. Of course, you also didn't get prize tickets for playing. The only thing on that floor that I saw that cost extra was a claw-type prize game. So, DS liked playing Skeeball -- it was pretty empty that night, so it didn't matter that the balls he threw went into the next lane! He also liked the spider stomp, a Disney character bike race, a Toy Story whack-an-alien game, and others. He also had fun on the floor where you take your picture and then do funny effects to it. Basically, if it's included in your ticket and you have time to kill after the parks close early, go for it. If you have to pay extra and/or it takes time away from the parks, I'd say skip it until he's older. JMO
