Hope everyone is having a nice bank holiday Monday :wave2:

I have a couple of quick questions for you......

1. We have decided for the first time ever to rent our car from the second day in Orlando so that we can both drink on the flight without worrying about driving when we arrive. Can anyone recommend a company for a private transfer to AKL from MCO?

2. We are staying at Disney for the first time ever and are wondering if you can use your room card like a credit card for purchases to be charged to your room? Like snacks, drinks, souvenirs in the parks etc?

Thank you :)

If you are staying at a Disney resort have you considered using the Magical Express - whilst not private the shuttles they run are very efficient and constant. When we used it to get to OKW it took no time at all from getting to the desk to getting on the bus to arriving at our resort.

In terms of your key card - if you give your credit card details at check in you are fine to charge items etc to your room. As you are staying on site you can also get any souvenirs/photos etc delivered back to your resort rather than carry them round.

1, Have you considered Magical Express ? When flying into MCO and staying on site we always use Disneys Magical Express for transfers.....it's a free coach transfer service provided by Disney for all Disney guests who are staying on site and can be booked online https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/reservations/dme/index?bhcp=1 or by phone.

We always arrange to pick up hire car a couple of days into holiday (at the Dolphin for Alamo). We only tend to have it for few days to go off site shopping,Seaworld,Universal etc as you can use Disney Transportation system to get around Disneyworld area.

2, Yes you can have charging added to your room key for any purchases made within Disneyworld area. They will ask you if you want this facility when you check in and take a swipe of your credit card to pay at the end of stay or when you've reached a particular limit ($1000 i think ?).

Hope this helps ?

Snap but you got there first

Thank you both so much for your helpful replies! :)

I hadn't even thought about the ME to be honest, my husband just asked me to check out Pre booking a taxi transfer. Will have a look and see what he thinks!

We have booked our hire car from Hilton Hotel LBV for 13 nights, we will use the Disney transport from time to time but with it being July, we would rather not be tied to the busses if they are so busy and standing in lines in the sweltering heat waiting for the next bus to AKL doesn't sound fun :scared:
