Disney Princess Lunch help

Hi,

I am going to DLP for 5 days at the end of September with OH, DS & DD and we are planning to do the princess lunch. We have the free half board standard meal plan and I've read different things online that has confused me.

I was hoping to use the meal vouchers for the disney princess lunch on one of the days but have read that if you received them free as part of your deal then you can't use them for cash value in plus it premium restaurants. Anyone know if this is true?

Also I was told that it would be cheaper to add the lunch to my meal plan but atm I don't know if it will be the 4 of us or just me and DD. OH is not bothered about going and I don't think DS will be that bothered, but I can't ask him as he doesn't know we're going yet!

If anyone can help, wither from past experiences or otherwise, it would be a great help.

Also if I had to book it on as an extra, how long before we went would I have to do it as I have already booked the holiday? And would I be able to just book for two of us?

Its the “your hotel“ meal plan vouchers which cant be used for cash value or in any other restauarant.
if you have half board standard plus or premium included in your booking you can use those vouchers at cash value for the princess meal .

I got free half board standard when booking (stating at hotel Cheyenne) so would these be ok to use for princess lunch? It would I be better off adding it as an extra?

Yes you can use your vouchers in part payment for the princess meal so i wouldnt pay to add the meal to the booking.
