So I already have FG dresses picked out if we go the beach wedding route. Now I am sitting hear super bored at work and can't stop thinking about FG dresses if we do the castle wedding.

I am trying to find FG dresses that resemble the princesses - more than the kirstie kelly ones. Ideally I would like something that looks a little nicer than the WDW girls costumes and also has a giant skirt (just because when I was 3 and 4 I would have done anything to have a dress with a giant skirt).

I didn't know if anyone had seen anything or heard about anyone previously dressing their FGs up as princesses?

Thanks!

This is my flower girl dress. It's not the best picture, but it's the only one I have of my niece in it. It thought it looked kind of like Belle, and she is absolutely adorable in it, and loved it. She was trying to run around the store in it. You can also buy different colored roses to attach to each pick-up or you can buy it with just the white roses.

Oooh thats very cute! It could def work especially with the different color roses.

I was just sort of hoping to find something that looked like the disney costumes but with better fabric - I fear I am not going to find anything.

Your right that does look a lot like belle - and I am wearing Belle's wedding dress in light gold - so it might be kind of fun to have the FGs have similar dresses in white.

My daughter got the deluxe giselle costume from disney from my mother last year- I'm not sure how you might find it- it was more expensive than the regular costumes, and it was very nice quality (as nice or nicer than all the flower girl dresses we tried on). She ordered it online through the store, and they didn't seem to have many of them before it was only the cheaper ones left. It's SUPER cute- you can see pics of it in my signature. And total disney! I'll keep my eye out and see if I can find one anywhere... Another idea- is that there are people online that can do custom dresses- maybe they would do a nicer quality one based on a disney character of your choice? They are often reasonably priced...

I am having my FG dress as Tinkerbell, and we are planning on using the costume from the Disney store, but they had a few different ones to choose from and they were different from the ones at WDW. So you might want to check the internet and see what all is out there. Also, someone left a comment on my PJ about a pattern for the fairie dresses, so I am sure there must be princess ones out there too. Good Luck! :goodvibes

Hmmm.... I just went and checked and all the ones for sale now aren't as nice and are cheaper.... I'll talk to my mom and see if she knows more, if so, I'll let you know!

You know though, cinderella would be SO cute if you were at the castle! I wonder if you could have one made that was in cindy's wedding dress style?

Good luck!

I think I am going crazy but I don't see the Multi-quote button...

So thank you to everyone!

Jedihunny - the etsy dresses are so cute and I think the closest thing I have found so far. I wish they had a little more detail but pickers can't be choosers. The second shop has a great deal on a package for 4 dresses!

Tink&PirateMama - I saw those dresses at the disney store in Feb!! I would totally have them made (I might end up going that route), but my belle dress in my avitar or whatever its called was a replacement. I had one custom made to look just like that - saw pictures and patterns ahead of time and it looked NOTHING like it at all. It was beyond expensive and one of the biggest disasters of my life. So I have sort of lost my trust and am very leary of having stuff done custom.

Carye - thanks so much! I love the old WDW ones from last year - I thought they were so cute - its just the new ones they have now that I really don't like. Maybe its best to scour ebay for the old ones... =o)
