Fantasyland rides in DL do not have fastpass entrances. There just isn't space for them. Since the OP said the premium access they got was through the fp line, that would make most of Fantasyland inaccessible for premium access as there is no separate fp entrance to use (toad, Peter pan, snow white, pinnochio, storybook canal at least).
they get a Gini (SP?) pass and this lets them to the front of any line wether it has a FP or not also ( I believe they get in parade and wishes FP with it)This was really interesting, thank you.
Does anyone know if they do something like this for the Make a Wish kids? When we were there last, I found myself thinking that I hope Disney gives them something like unlimited FPs or something to make seeing the park easier for them.
Your tour guide let you pay for their meal? I always offer to pay, but our guide always tells me that his meal is "on the boss".

Using the new FP Plus system as you know limits you to just 3 FP reservations and then you must use all those FPs before you can reserve another one at a park. If you have just one FP booked for late afternoon, you are stuck not being able to get another until after the last one is used. Unless this has changed but I believe this is still the case. And trust me, during our Christmas WDW VIP tour we saw the standby line wait time at Epcot for TestTrack to be 240min. 4hrs!. No thanks. You must be visiting in the middle of summer with miserable heat or have just been real lucky to have never seen a 2 hr wait. Unfortunately, Disney Parks are getting busier and busier and it is getting to the point where the parks never really have an off season time. During Christmas , we have seen many times where the MK closes its gates due to overcrowding. Thanks for you feedback and appreciate you taking time to read the post. We've never had to wait in a 2 hour line for anything, and never had to pay a tour guide thousands of dollars for FP+ access. I'm confused as to why you need a tour guide? I guess if you only had one day at MK, but still, you can get so much done in one full day.
This is a great question and something I should have mentioned. There is a difference on this. At WDW, your tour guide is required to be with you to gain access to your reserved seats. This was NOT the case at DL. As you asked, you could end your tour earlier in the day and go back to see the late shows at night without your guide being present any longer. Your name is on a list that a cast member will verify and check you in at the VIP viewing spot. A nice perk and saves you many hours of VIP tour time. As far as dining reservations, You guide can easily check while they are with you and try to help secure reservations even if the reservation is after your tour is done. Once that reservation is confirmed you should be good, but yes definitely have them check for you while your tour is active and the guide is with you. It has been my experience that if it is a crazy busy time of year, they may still not be able to sneak you in during prime lunch or dinner hrs but may be able to get you in at an off time but this is still better than nothing if the restaurant is a must see for you. I've also been told there is sometimes just no additional availability. Best is to just plan your dining and reserve as far ahead as possible online.Does your tour time have to overlap your VIP seating times? Say I want the tour from 10-4 would I still get access to the VIP fireworks section later that night? Does the same apply for dinner reservations? Could I use my tour guide to get a reservation for Cinderella's Castle for 6 pm when my tour ends at 4pm?
