I am thinking of booking a trip for Jan/Feb, but at that time I may be 3-4 months pregnant. Will I miss out on a lot of rides? If you have gone when pregnant, how was it?
I went when I was 16 weeks pregnant. It wasn't bad at all. I rode pretty much everything but the roller coasters. I had no morning sickness so I'm sure that helped. I still had a great time and would do it again.
A plus was everone was catering to me! I wasn't allowed to carry anything at all. After all, I was pregnant!
I went to Disney twice while I was pregnant. Once at about 4 months, the second time at about 6 months. The only rides I avoided were the coasters, TOT, TT and the Safari (and this was only because my bladder couldn't take the bouncing ). I thoroughly enjoyed those two trips. It was sort of my introduction to what Disney would be like after I became a mommy... I'd end up on those same smaller rides with a child!
The only issues I encountered were swollen ankles... much more walking than I usually do at home... and drinking a LOT of water. I couldn't get enough water when I was pregnant... combine that with the salt added to just about every food and I drank enough water to float the entire continent of North America! I now know where just about every ladies room is in every park! I also took a nap every afternoon... but so did DH and he certainly wasn't pregnant!
I went when I was 9 weeks pregnant (trip booked & paid for before I knew of course). I had a great time. Because I was so early, I did have some morning: AKA "how come this is called morning sickness if I feel sick all day long," sickness. I carried a travel tooth brush & some paste in back pack "just in case". But other than a few really queasy moments I had a really fabulous time. I just stayed away from the coasters & anything too bumpy. I think you'll find there is really more you can ride/experience than not. And the things you can't do this trip you can parent swap for the next . Have a wonderful trip.

We are planning a trip for next Sept/Oct and stand the possibility to be preggo, but no big deal about the rides. My mom will enjoy having a ppl watching friend lol! We are hopeing to start trying next summer or fall, but these are thing I'm thinking about all ready. I know I sound crazy, but it is obvious I have a bit of control issues?!
