Disney Postmark?

If you send mail within the World, is they any type of postmark or stamp cancelling mark that indicates Disney?

Nope... it's a general misconception that there is one, but I was assured by our KTTK tour guide (and verified it on postcards we sent ourselves) that it's a regular postmark. For Orlando I believe.

It also takes forever for the mail to make it to the USPS...as I learned mailing my gas bill from the WL in 2000.

There is only one place I know that was doing a disney postmark, that was in November when I was last there. It's the Scrapbooking store in Downtown Disney Marketplace called Disney's Wonderful World of Memories. I mailed all my postcards from there so they would have the disney postmark.

The postmark is very long and covers quite abit of the top of your postcard. It had Tinkerbell on it and I beleive it said Magical Gatherings.

Disney might not have a special postmark, but a few years ago, we were in WDW in December. We drove to Christmas, FL (about an hour's drive from WDW) and mailed our Christmas cards from there. We put in a few grains of beach sand and a tiny shell - Everyone back home loved the cards postmarked, "Christmas, FL"
